Aurora Hot Pepper (Capsicum annuum) is a compact, ornamental plant reaching about 12 inches in height, ideal for container gardening. It produces abundant 1 to 1.5-inch upright peppers that transition through a vibrant color spectrum: starting as lavender, then deep purple, followed by orange, and finally red upon full maturity. These peppers are very hot, with a Scoville rating between 30,000 and 50,000 SHU.
