Cambridge Blue Lobelia is a trailing plant with delicate sky-blue flowers that bloom throughout the summer. It adds a soft, cascading effect to hanging baskets and containers.

Planting tip: Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Seeds are tiny and need light to germinate; do not cover. Keep evenly moist.||Harden off seedlings for 1 week before transplanting after last frost. Prefers partial shade and consistently moist, rich soil.
Harvesting tip: Deadhead or shear back by half after first flush of bloom to encourage a second wave of flowers. Trailing types benefit from regular trimming.

La lobélie bleue de Cambridge est une plante retombante aux délicates fleurs bleu ciel qui fleurissent tout l’été. Elle apporte une touche de douceur et de cascade aux suspensions et aux pots.

Ensemencement: Semez à l’intérieur 8 à 10 sem. avant les dernières gelées. Les graines sont minuscules et ont besoin de lumière pour germer ; ne les recouvrez pas. Maintenez le terreau uniformément humide. Endurcissez les jeunes plants pendant une semaine avant de les repiquer après les dernières gelées. Cette plante préfère la mi-ombre et un sol riche et constamment humide.
Récolte: Supprimez les fleurs fanées ou taillez de moitié après la première floraison pour favoriser une seconde floraison. Les rosiers retombants apprécient une taille régulière.
