The Carleton Tomato, introduced in 1952 from the Central Experiment Farm in Ottawa, Ontario, is a round red variety, often compared to the Marglobe tomato. Known for its high yield and reliable performance, it produces firm, uniform fruit with excellent flavour, making it a popular choice for both fresh eating and canning. The plant is determinate, with strong disease resistance and consistent growth. INDETERMINATE.

Harvesting tip: For best taste harvest when fully ripe, expressed its full colour. Can also harvest when tomato is green and expressed its 1st blush; if so, let tomato ripen off-vine above 21°C.
Storage tip: Store at 12-21°C, relative humidity 95%.
