The French Everbearing cultivar Charlotte is derived from a hybrid between Cal 19, a Californian selection, and Mara des Bois. This type is productive and has excellent hardiness. The berries are firm, firm, heart-shaped, crimson, and have a high shelf life. Because of its distinct candy-like taste, this type is a fan favourite. Charlotte yields extremely fragrant fruit with notes of woodsy and musky scents, a very low acidity, and a very sweet flavour. Because they are so active, plants require minimal fertiliser. Compared to Seascape, Charlotte demonstrated a greater resistance to cold, mites, and powdery mildew because it was introduced solely.

Les baies sont fermes, en forme de cœur, de couleur pourpre, et se conservent longtemps. Son goût caractéristique de bonbon en fait un favori des amateurs.
