ID: 23695 | Planting Tip: Poppies are started outdoors in early spring even when there is still a chance of frost. Transplant not recommended. Harvesting Tip: For seed harvest, cut seed pods when they rattle when shaken and have dried to a tan color. For fresh flowers, cut buds just before they open in the morning. Storage Tip: Store dried seeds in airtight containers in a cool, dry place. Dry pods completely before shaking out seeds. |
