Also known as Forono and Formanova, a long smooth regular cylindrical beet, growing to 7″, dark red, sweet and beet-y. Highly marketable and not at all woody. Suitable for baking, cooking, and pickling. Roots will push up out of the ground and develop rough shoulders. Heirloom from the 1880s, originally from Denmark.

Également connue sous les noms de ‘Forono’ et ‘Formanova’, il s’agit d’une longue betterave rouge foncé cylindrique, régulière et lisse, atteignant 7″. Sucrée. Très commercialisable et pas du tout ligneuse. Convient pour la cuisson au four, la cuisine et les marinades. Les racines sortent du sol et développent des épaules rugueuses. Héritage des années 1880, originaire du Danemark.
