Heirloom variety that has mysterious origin and predates 1888. White spots at the base of the petal forms a cross in the center of the brilliant scarlet flowers mimicking the Danish flag.
Planting tip: Seed stratification is required for 2 weeks. Poppies are started outdoors in early spring even when there is still a chance of frost. Transplant not recommended.

Variété héritière qui aux origines mystérieusess antérieures à 1888. Les taches blanches à la base des pétales forment une croix au centre des fleurs écarlates brillantes imitant le drapeau danois.
Ensemencement: La stratification des semences est nécessaire pendant 2 sem.. Les coquelicots sont commencés à l’extérieur au début du printemps même quand il y a encore une chance de gel. La transplantation n’est pas recommandée.
