Bright blue dazzling stands true to its and its rich flavor. High yielding and robustness and color become more vibrant with the colder temperatures. Bred by Hank Keogh of Avoca Seed Farm, produced in association with Wild Garden Seed in Oregon and released through the Open Source Seed Initiative. 24-30” tall.
Companion plants: Potato, Beets, Lettuce, Chard, Peas, Alliums, Radish, Spinach, Celery, Cucumber, Aromatic herbs. 
Far from: Tomato, Strawberry, Grape, Rue.
Planting tip: Soaking in warm water for up to 12H is recommended for improved germination. Direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked. It can be started indoors 4 weeks before the planting date. For fall plantings sow 2 months before first expected frost.
Harvesting tip: Harvest at the desired size. Flavor sweetens with light frost.
Storage tip: Cooling in water after harvest recommended. It can be stored in the refrigerator for a few weeks.

Blue dazzling’ est fidèle à son nom et a une saveur riche. Haut rendement et robustesse. La couleur devient plus vive avec les températures plus froides. Sélectionné par Hank Keogh de Avoca Seed Farm, produit en association avec Wild Garden Seed en Oregon et diffusé par l’Open Source Seed Initiative. Hauteur de 24-30″.
Plantes compagnes: Patate, betterave, laitue, blette, pois, alliums, radis, épinard, céleri, concombre, fines herbes.
Loin de: Tomate, fraise, raisin, rue.
Ensemencement: Le trempage dans l’eau chaude pendant 12H maximum est recommandé pour améliorer la germination. Semis direct dès que le sol peut être travaillé. Il peut être démarré à l’intérieur 4 sem. avant la date de plantation. Pour les plantations d’automne, semer 2 mois avant le premier gel prévue.
Récolte: Récolter à la taille désirée. La saveur devient plus douce avec une légère gel.
Entreposage: Il est recommandé de la refroidir dans l’eau après la récolte. Elle peut être conservée au réfrigérateur pendant quelques semaines.
