Luscious beyond description” was W. Atlee Burpee’s review from 1886. Sweet and juicy orange flesh with a rich, musky flavor and spicy cinnamon aroma that is prized to this day. A heavy producer with dark green, slightly netted skin. Short harvest window; collect melons when skin becomes netted and fruits slip from the vine. Also known as ‘Netted Gem’. Muskmelon, 2-3 lbs

Succulent au delà de toute mesure” était la critique de W. Atlee Burpee de 1886. Une chair orange, sucrée et juteuse, avec une saveur riche et musquée et un arôme de cannelle épicée qui est apprécié à ce jour. Un gros producteur avec une peau vert foncé, légèrement réticulée. La fenêtre de récolte est courte ; ramassez les melons lorsque la peau devient réticulée et que les fruits glissent de la vigne. Également connu sous le nom de “Netted Gem”. Melon musqué, 2-3 lbs
