ID: 1106 | Planting Tip: Start indoors 10-12 weeks before transplanting date. Trim to 1” when it reaches 5” to increase thickness. Harvesting Tip: When tops dry up & fall over harvest for storage variety. Cure for 3-5 days in the fields. Alternatively, cure in greenhouse at 23-26°C & 80% humidity. Storage Tip: Cool and dry slowly to stretch dormancy period. Can also store in root cellar at 0-1°C and 65-70% humidity. |
