A vibrant golden-rooted beet that combines excellent flavor with dependable garden performance. Golden Detroit Beet produces smooth, round roots with bright golden-yellow flesh that remains tender and sweet even as the roots mature. The flavor is mild and earthy with subtle sweetness and far less of the strong “beet” taste found in red varieties. Its bright color stays golden when cooked and will not stain, making it ideal for roasting, steaming, salads, and pickling.
