Hatch Red Hot Pepper is a popular chili pepper known for its smoky, rich flavor and medium heat. Originating from Hatch, New Mexico, this pepper is celebrated for its versatility in cooking, commonly used in salsas, sauces, and as a seasoning for meats and dishes. The peppers ripen to a deep red color and offer a balanced heat level ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), making them milder than many other hot peppers. They are typically grown in the hot, dry conditions of the Southwest, contributing to their distinct flavor.

Le piment rouge de Hatch est un piment populaire connu pour sa saveur riche et fumée et sa chaleur moyenne. Originaire de Hatch, au Nouveau-Mexique, ce piment est réputé pour sa versatilité en cuisine.
