4–5″ long cayenne peppers turns from green to bright yellow to orange-yellow. Vietnamese boat people shared these seeds with Minnesota farmer Steven Schwen in the 1980s. Schwen named it Ho Chi Minh in honor of the Vietnamese revolutionary who led the Việt Minh, a national independence coalition that fought for Vietnamese freedom from French, and later US, and Japanese imperialism and colonialism. This pepper has a serious bite and is super prolific. 30,000 Scovilles.

Far from: Beans, Brassicas, Fennel.
Planting tip: Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before planting date. For best results harden off at 18-19°C
Harvesting tip: Ready to harvest as soon as they’ve achieved their final colour. Harvest first fruit promptly to stimulate production.
Storage tip: Store at 10-12°C w/ relative humidity of 95%

Les piments Cayenne de 4 à 5 pouces de long passent du vert au jaune vif puis au jaune orangé. Des boat people vietnamiens ont partagé ces graines avec Steven Schwen, un agriculteur du Minnesota, dans les années 1980. Schwen l’a nommé Ho Chi Minh en l’honneur du révolutionnaire vietnamien qui a dirigé le Việt Minh, une coalition d’indépendance nationale qui a lutté pour la liberté du Vietnam contre l’impérialisme et le colonialisme français, puis américain et japonais. Ensemencement: Semer à l’intérieur 6 à 8 sem. avant la date de plantation. Pour un meilleur résultat, faites-les endurcir à 18-19°C
Récolte: Prêts à être récoltés dès leur couleur finale atteinte. Récolter promptement afin de stimuler la production.
Entreposage: Stockez à 10-12°C avec humidité relative de 95%.
