ID: 62161 | Planting Tip: Lentils thrive in well-drained soil and full sun. Avoid overly fertile soil, as it promotes excessive foliage instead of pods. Harvesting Tip: Harvest when pods turn brown and dry. Pull the whole plant and hang upside down in a dry place (like a garage). Once fully dry, thresh the bundle to release seeds for saving or cooking. Storage Tip: Store fully dried lentils in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Properly dried seeds keep over a year. |
