This unusual melon produces elongated, smooth yellow-white fruit that splits open when ripe, resembling a cobra hood. Its dry flesh has a sweet, creamy texture and distinctive aroma, making it delightful with ice cream and honey.

Vitamins+: B5, C+, K, K+, Lycopene
Companion plants: Peas, Corn, Beans, Radish, Beets, Carrot, Onion, Marigold, Nasturtium, Sunflower, Oregano, Dill. 
Far from: Potato, Sage, Mint, Melon.
Planting tip: Start seeds indoors 2-3 weeks before the last frost, or sow directly outdoors after the last frost. If needed scarify the seeds and soak seeds for 24 hours before planting for improved germination.||
Harvesting tip: It is a cross between a melon and cucumber. Can be harvested early and eaten like cucumber. As it ripens, it starts to resemble a melon. Splits when overripe.
Storage tip: Store whole fruit in a cool, dry place at room °T until ripe. Refrigerate ripe or cut fruit and consume within a few days.
