”This perennial flower produces pink, rose, and white flowers producing single and double blooms. If planted early in the season, the advantage of this hollyhock is that it blooms in the first year. Planting tip: Seed stratification is needed for 2 weeks. Soaking in warm water for up to 12H is recommended to help germination. Start hollyhocks 6-8 weeks before last frost.||Transplant outside after the last frost. Minimize root disturbance.
Harvesting tip: Cut flower stalks when buds at the bottom of the spike are open. Leave the lower leaves to support root energy for the next year.
Storage tip: Dry individual flowers by pressing flat, or dry stalks upside down in a cool, dark place. Excellent for potpourri.

Cette fleur vivace produit des fleurs roses, fuschia et blanches, simples ou doubles. Si elle est plantée tôt dans la saison, l’avantage de cette rose trémière est qu’elle fleurit dès la première année. Si elle est plantée tard, elle fleurira l’été suivant. Les plantes atteignent plus de 1,5 m de haut (même la première année). Variété et description courtoisie de Bird & Bee Seeds.

Plantes compagnes: Achillée Millefeuille, Campanule, Marguerite, Zinnia, Tagète, Tournesol.
Ensemencement: La stratification des graines est nécessaire pendant 2 sem.. Un trempage dans de l’eau tiède pendant 12 heures maximum est recommandé pour favoriser la germination. Semez les roses trémières 6 à 8 sem. avant les dernières gelées. Repiquez-les en pleine terre après les dernières gelées. Manipulez les racines avec précaution.
Récolte: Coupez les tiges florales lorsque les boutons floraux situés à la base sont ouverts. Laissez les feuilles inférieures en place pour soutenir l’énergie des racines pour l’année suivante.
Entreposage: Séchez les fleurs une à une en les aplatissant, ou séchez les tiges la tête en bas dans un endroit frais et sombre. Excellent pour les pot-pourris.
