An attractive native of the American southwest with pink-purple flowers. Young foliage is strongly lemon-scented and excellent in tea. Leaves used by Hopi Indians to flavour wild game.
Companion plants: Echinacea, Phlox, Rudbeckia, Eupatorium, Tomato. 
Far from: Potato, Cucumber, Watermelon, Eggplant.
Planting tip: Seed stratification is required for 2-4 weeks. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before planting outside. It can be transplanted outside as early as spring or early summer. Transplant outside when plant reaches 3-4” in height. It can also be direct sow outside from early spring up until 8 weeks before the first frost in the fall.Seed stratification is required for 2-4 weeks.
Harvesting tip: Harvest leaves starting first year. Flowers blooms in second year.

Une jolie plante indigène du sud-ouest américain aux fleurs rose-violet. Le jeune feuillage est fortement parfumé au citron et excellent dans le thé. Les feuilles sont utilisées par les Indiens Hopi pour aromatiser le gibier.
Plantes compagnes: Echinacée, Phlox, Rudbéckie, Eupatoire, Tomate.
Loin de: Patate, concombre, pastèque, aubergine.
Ensemencement: La stratification des semences est nécessaire pendant 2 à 4 sem.. Semis sous châssis 6-8 sem. avant la plantation en extérieur. Elle peut être transplantée à l’extérieur dès le printemps ou le début de l’été. Transplanter à l’extérieur lorsque la plante atteint 3-4″ de hauteur. Elle peut aussi être semée directement à l’extérieur du début du printemps jusqu’à 8 sem. avant le premier gel de l’automne.
Récolte: Récolter les feuilles dès la première année. Les fleurs fleurissent la deuxième année.
