An attractive native of the American southwest with pink-purple flowers. Young foliage is strongly lemon-scented and excellent in tea. Leaves used by Hopi Indians to flavour wild game.

Planting tip: Seed stratification is required for 2-4 weeks. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before planting outside or direct sow outside from early spring up until 8 weeks before the first frost in the fall.||Can be transplanted outside as early as spring or early summer, when plant reaches at least 3-4” in height.
Harvesting tip: Harvest leaves starting first year. Flowers blooms in second year.

Une jolie plante indigène du sud-ouest américain aux fleurs rose-violet. Le jeune feuillage est fortement parfumé au citron et excellent dans le thé. Les feuilles sont utilisées par les Indiens Hopi pour aromatiser le gibier.

Ensemencement: La stratification des semences est nécessaire pendant 2 à 4 sem.. Semez à l’intérieur 6 à 8 sem. avant la plantation en extérieur ou semez directement en pleine terre du début du printemps jusqu’à 8 sem. avant les premières gelées d’automne. Le repiquage en extérieur est possible dès le printemps ou le début de l’été, lorsque la plante atteint une hauteur d’au moins 7 à 10 cm.
