The original hybrid January King-type Cabbage are robust plants that produce green semi-savoy heads with a reddish/purple tinge on the outer wrap.  Small to medium-sized, slightly flattened heads are present. W wonderful for the winter market. Harvesting can take place in late fall, depending on the plant date. Partial overwintering maybe required.
Companion plants: Alliums, Sage, Rosemary, Celery, Nasturtium, Mint. 
Far from: Tomato.
Planting tip: Soaking in warm water for up to 12H is recommended for improved germination. Direct sow when the °T reaches above 23°C. It can be started indoors 4-6 weeks before the planting date.
Harvesting tip: Harvest when the outer leaf begins to fall off.
Storage tip: Store at 0°C at 95% humidity and good air circulation.

Ces choux hybrides originaux de type ‘January King’ sont des plantes robustes qui produisent des têtes vertes semi-savoyardes avec une teinte rougeâtre/pourpre sur la feuille extérieure.  Les têtes sont de taille petite à moyenne, légèrement aplaties. Merveilleux pour le marché d’hiver. La récolte peut avoir lieu à la fin de l’automne, selon la date de plantation. Un hivernage partiel peut être nécessaire.
Plantes compagnes: Alliums, Romarin, Céleri, Capucine, Menthe.
Loin de: Tomato.
Ensemencement: Le trempage dans l’eau chaude pendant 12H maximum est recommandé pour améliorer la germination. Semis direct lorsque la °T atteint plus de 23°C. Il peut être démarré à l’intérieur 4 à 6 sem. avant la date de plantation.
Récolte: Récolte lorsque les feuilles extérieures commencent à tomber.
Entreposage: Conservez à 0°C à 95% d’humidité et une bonne circulation d’air.
