These adorable mini-eggplants grow on attractive, dwarf plants about a foot tall. Showy lavender flowers are followed by drooping clusters of tiny, deep purple fruits, ready for a prolonged harvest at about seven weeks after transplant. Try growing this highly ornamental variety in an attractive container mixed with colorful annuals. Bambino is perfect for kebabs on the barbecue, combined with other veggies and meats, or simply charred on the grill. Serve as antipasto glistening with olive oil, strewn with fresh herbs from your garden.

Ces adorables mini-aubergines poussent sur de jolis plants nains d’environ 30 cm de haut. Les jolies fleurs lavande sont suivies de grappes tombantes de minuscules fruits violet foncé, prêts pour une récolte prolongée à environ sept semaines après la transplantation. Essayez de cultiver cette variété très ornementale dans un joli récipient mélangé à des plantes annuelles colorées. Le bambino est parfait pour les brochettes sur le barbecue, marié à d’autres légumes et viandes, ou simplement grillé sur le gril.
