Introduced into the 1991 Yearbook by Dr. Larry Woods from Georgia. His seed source grew this variety since the 1950s. Oblong 20-35 pound fruits with dark and light green stripes. Extra firm deep yellow flesh and black seeds. Quite productive, very high sugar content.
Companion plants: Radish, Corn, Garlic, Nasturtium, Pumpkin, Squash. 
Far from: Potato.
Planting tip: Soaking in warm water for up to 12H & scarification is recommended for improved germination. Sow indoors 2 weeks before transplanting outside or direct sow outside when soil °T is above 21°C.
Harvesting tip: Harvest when tendril near the fruit is dried and brown.
Storage tip: Store at 7°C and at 85% humidity for up to 3 weeks.

Introduit dans l’Annuaire 1991 par le Dr Larry Woods de la Géorgie. Sa source de semences a cultivé cette variété depuis les années 1950. Fruits oblongs de 20-35 livres avec des rayures vertes foncées et claires. Chair jaune-foncé extra ferme et graines noires. Assez productive, très haute teneur en sucre.
Plantes compagnes: Radis, maïs, ail, capucine, citrouille, courge.
Loin de: Patate.
Ensemencement: Le trempage dans l’eau chaude pendant 12H et la scarification sont recommandés pour améliorer la germination. Semer à l’intérieur 2 sem. avant de transplanter à l’extérieur ou semer directement à l’extérieur lorsque la °T du sol est supérieure à 21°C.
Récolte: Récolter lorsque la vrille près du fruit est sèche et brune.
Entreposage: Conservez à 7°C et à 85% d’humidité jusqu’à 3 semaines.
