This popular early maturing climbing hyacinth bean vine is grown for its beauty as much as for its immature beans. The plant growth is vigorous producing brilliantly colored light purple flowers. The bean pods are red-purple in color, with a flat, thick and curved shape.

Planting tip: Direct seed after last frost. To continuously harvest, plant in 3-week intervals.
Harvesting tip: Wait until pods and enclosed seeds have reached full maturity. For dry beans, allow plenty of space for airflow so they can dry later in the season.
Storage tip: It’s best to only freeze dry beans.

Cette plante grimpante populaire à maturation précoce est cultivée pour sa beauté autant que pour ses haricots immatures. La croissance de la plante est vigoureuse, produisant des fleurs violet clair vivement colorées. Les cosses sont de couleur rouge-violet, avec une forme plate, épaisse et courbée.
