Exclusive purple snap pea, developed by Dr. Calvin Lamborn, the creator of the classic Sugar Snap. Rich color and excellent flavor. Pairs well with Honey Snap II, Sugar Ann, or Sugar Snap. Pods averaging 2 3/4–3 inches long with 2 pods per node. For the best texture and taste, remove the string from pods before cooking.

Planting tip: Soaking in warm water for up to 8H is recommended for improved germination. Seeds won’t germinate if soaked too long.||Direct sow is recommended. Can also be planted in late summer for a fall crop. Hot and dry conditions are not ideal for peas.
Harvesting tip: Harvest when peas begin to form in the pod and continue picking until the pods are fully elongated, about 3″ (7 cm) long. Snap peas are most flavorful if picked at about half full size, about a week after flowering.

Récolte: Récoltez lorsque les pois commencent à se former dans la gousse et continuez à cueillir jusqu’à ce que les gousses soient complètement allongées, d’environ 3″ (7 cm) de long. Les pois mange-tout sont plus savoureux s’ils sont cueillis à la moitié de leur taille, environ une semaine après la floraison.
