An heirloom that dates back to 1897. Great for outdoor or greenhouse production. European cucumber that is 10–14″. Use trellises for higher quality fruit. Slim smooth-skinned fruits of very delicate mild flavor, seldom bitter and containing few seeds.

Companion plants: Radish, Beans, Dill, Marigold, Nasturtium, Sunflower, Onion, Peas, Corn, Beet, Oregano. 
Far from: Potato, Melon, Aromatic Herbs & Sage.
Planting tip: Soaking in warm water for up to 24H & scarification is recommended for improved germination. Start transplant 3-4 weeks before planting date. One can also direct sow as soon as all the danger of frost has passed.||Cucumbers prefer an air °T of 21°C.
Harvesting tip: Harvest every day or two otherwise leftover cucumber will overripen and slow production.
Storage tip: Store at 10-12°C w/ 95% humidity for up to 10 days.

Un patrimoine qui remonte Ă  1897. IdĂ©al pour la production Ă  l’extĂ©rieur ou en serre. Concombre europĂ©en qui mesure 10-14″. Utilisez des treillis pour obtenir des fruits de meilleure qualitĂ©. Fruits minces Ă  peau lisse, Ă  saveur douce très dĂ©licate, rarement amers et qui contiennent peu de graines.
