This compact non-trailing nasturtium has deep-red flowers that have a velvety texture. They appear in great profusion over a prolonged period and the best display is produced when they are grown in full sun. Excellent for borders and patio containers.Nasturtium attracts beneficial insects while aromatic foliage can deter pests. Widely used as a companion plant!
Companion plants: Throughout the garden (helps almost everything), Brassicas, Cucurbits, Beans, Potatoes. 
Far from: Fennel.
Planting tip: Seed scarification aids in germination. Soak seeds in warm water for up to 24H before planting. Sow seed indoors 2-4 weeks before last frost. Nasturtiums thrive in poor to average, slightly acidic, well-drained soil.
Harvesting tip: Harvest when flowers are fully open. Leaves are also edible.

Cette capucine compacte et non rampante a des fleurs d’un rouge profond à texture veloutée. Elles apparaissent en grande profusion sur une période prolongée et le plus joli spectacle se déploie lorsqu’elles sont cultivées en plein soleil. La capucine attire les insectes bénéfiques et son feuillage aromatique peut éloigner les insectes nuisibles. Communément cultivée comme plante compagne!
Plantes compagnes: À travers tout le jardin (aide presque tout), brassicacées, cucurbitacées, haricots, patates.
Loin de: Fenouil.
Ensemencement: La scarification des semences favorise la germination. Tremper dans l’eau chaude jusqu’à 24H avant de planter. Semer à l’intérieur 2 à 4 sem. avant le dernier gel. Les capucines prospèrent dans un sol pauvre à moyen, légèrement acide et bien drainé.
Récolte: Récoltez lorsque les fleurs sont complètement ouvertes. Les feuilles sont également comestibles.
