Very old heirloom variety pre-dates 1860. Pale green above ground globes with crisp white flesh. Sweet and mild with a flavor reminiscent of turnips. Excellent raw or steamed. Best grown in cooler weather. Excellent fall crop.

Très ancienne variété patrimoniale datant d’avant 1860. Globes vert-pâle au-dessus du sol avec une chair blanche croustillante. Sucré et doux avec une saveur rappelant celle du navet. Excellent cru ou cuit à la vapeur. À cultiver de préférence par temps frais. Excellente récolte d’automne.
