Local Grown Yellow Shepherd Pepper are like standard sweet yellow bell peppers in taste, thickness and colour, but juicier. Great for roasting and stuffing. Very much like standard sweet red bell peppers in taste, thickness and colour, but somewhat juicier, and because of their size very easy to work with. Where you might plan two stuffed peppers for a guy with a healthy appetite, one Shepherd Pepper should absolutely do it. They will vary in size from 7 to 10 inches long, and be about 3 inches wide.
Companion plants: Alliums, Basil, Tomato, Spinach, Oregano, Marjoram, Nasturtium, Marigold. 
Far from: Beans, Brassicas, Fennel.
Planting tip: Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before planting date. For best results harden off at 18-19°C
Harvesting tip: Harvest first fruit promptly to stimulate production.
Storage tip: Store at 10-12°C w/ relative humidity of 95%

Les poivrons Yellow Shepherd cultivés localement ressemblent aux poivrons jaunes doux standard en termes de goût, d’épaisseur et de couleur, mais ils sont plus juteux. Idéal pour rôtir et farcir. Ils ressemblent beaucoup aux poivrons rouges doux standard en termes de goût, d’épaisseur et de couleur, mais ils sont un peu plus juteux et, en raison de leur taille, ils sont très faciles à travailler. Alors que vous pourriez prévoir deux poivrons farcis pour un homme ayant un bon appétit, un seul poivron Shepherd devrait absolument faire l’affaire. Leur taille varie de 7 à 10 pouces de long, et leur largeur est d’environ 3 pouces

Loin de: Fèves, Brassicassés, Fenouil.
Ensemencement: Semer à l’intérieur 6 à 8 sem. avant la date de plantation. Pour un meilleur résultat, faites-les endurcir à 18-19°C
Récolte: Récolter les premiers fruit rapidement afin de stimuler davantage la production.
Entreposage: Stocker à 10-12 ° C avec humidité relative de 95%.
