European origin. Fruits are the oblong shapes of alpine types, yellow skin, and flesh, and are very sweet tasting. The plants are low growing, but very productive, even in containers. Start early and plants will produce fruit in the first year.

Companion plants: Borage, Bush Beans, Caraway, Asparagus, Catnip, Yarrow, Alliums, Sage, Spinach, Lettuce.
