Delicious sweet and nutty flavor. 6-10lbs. Blue-grey skin and rich orange flesh.  Improved by High Mowing Seeds. Originally part of Koanga Gardens Collection of Heritage Seeds in New Zealand.
Companion plants: Corn, Pole Beans, Radish, Tomato, Marigold, Nasturtium, Oregano, Calendula. 
Far from: Tomato, Eggplant, Potato, Pepper.
Planting tip: Plant directly outside in late May or early June when soil has reached 25°C. Can start indoors, 3-4 weeks before the last frost & transplant outside when soil reaches 25°C.
Harvesting tip: Mature fruit have a rich color & rinds that are hard to dent with a fingernail. Also, the ground spot gets riper in color (yellow to cream, gold to orange). Cut 2” stem to avoid rot from the stem. Must cure in dry and warm place.
Storage tip: Store at 10-12°C w/ 55-75% humidity & good air circulation.

Délicieuse saveur sucrée et noisettée. Fruit de 6-10lbs, à peau bleu-grise et à chair orange riche.  Amélioré par High Mowing Seeds. Originaire de ‘Koanga Gardens Collection of Heritage Seeds’ en Nouvelle-Zélande.
Plantes compagnes: Maïs, haricots grimpants, radis, tomate, tagète, capucine, origan, calendule.
Loin de: Tomate, aubergine, patate, poivron.
Ensemencement: Planter directement à l’extérieur fin mai ou début juin lorsque le sol atteint 25°C. Peut commencer à l’intérieur 3-4 sem. avant le dernier gel. Transplanter à l’extérieur lorsque le sol atteint 25°C.
Récolte: Les fruits mûrs ont une couleur riche et une écorce difficile à creuser avec l’ongle. De plus, la couleur de la tache au sol devient plus mûre (jaune à crème, or à orange). Couper 2″ de tige pour éviter la pourriture par la tige. Doit mûrir dans un endroit sec et chaud.
Entreposage: Stocker à 10-12°C avec 55-75% d’humidité et une bonne circulation d’air.
