it’s the “green giant” of celery, a tried and true favorite with large stalks of crispy, flavorful celery. A long-keeping variety that is very productive and easy to grow. For best results space plants 12″ apart in rows 24″ apart. Known for being a late season producer you can enjoy again and again. Prefers consistent soil moisture.
Companion plants: Tomato, Spinach, Onion, Beans, Sage, Thyme, Cabbage, Basil, Tansy. 
Far from: Potato, Parsley, Carrot, Parsnip.
Planting tip: Start seedlings indoors 10-12 weeks before planting. Transplant is highly recommended. It can be transplanted 2-3 weeks before the last frost date. May bolt if the °T below 12°C in the day and 4°C at night.
Harvesting tip: Harvest while curds are still tight. Tie leaves together for a blanched effect. The stalk will lighten the colour and flavour will milder. Cool right after harvesting.
Storage tip: Store at 1-2°C at 95% humidity for up to 2 weeks.

C’est le “géant vert” du céleri, un favori éprouvé, vrai avec de grandes tiges de céleri croustillant et savoureux. Une variété de longue conservation, très productive et facile à cultiver. Pour de meilleurs résultats, espacez les plantes de 12″ en rangées espacées de 24″. Connu pour être un producteur de fin de saison que vous pouvez apprécier encore et encore. Préfère une humidité constante du sol.
Plantes compagnes: Tomate, épinard, oignon, haricot, sauge, thym, chou, basilic, tanaisie.
Loin de: Patate, persil, carotte, panais.
Ensemencement: Commencer les semis à l’intérieur 10-12 sem. avant la plantation. Le repiquage est fortement recommandé. Il peut être transplanté 2-3 sem. avant la date de le dernier gel. Peut boulonner si la °T est inférieure à 12°C le jour et à 4°C la nuit.
Récolte: Récolter pendant que le caillé est encore serré. Attachez les feuilles ensemble pour obtenir un effet blanchi. La tige éclaircira la couleur et la saveur sera plus douce. Refroidir juste après la récolte.
Entreposage: Conservez à 1-2°C à 95% d’humidité jusqu’à 2 semaines.
