The winter melon, known for its massive size of 30 to 35 pounds, features blocky, round gourds with a green hue and white waxy coating. Thriving in well-drained soils and hot temperatures, it originates from South Asia and is valued in Eastern continents for its medicinal properties. In traditional Eastern and Ayurveda medicine, it’s used to improve digestion, alleviate respiratory issues, and act as a natural diuretic for flushing toxins from the body.

Le melon d’hiver, connu pour sa taille massive de 30 à 35 livres, se caractérise par des calebasses rondes à la teinte verte et à l’enveloppe cireuse blanche. Il est originaire d’Asie du Sud et est apprécié sur les continents orientaux pour ses propriétés médicinales. Dans la médecine traditionnelle orientale et ayurvédique, elle est utilisée pour améliorer la digestion, soulager les problèmes respiratoires et agir comme diurétique naturel pour éliminer les toxines de l’organisme.
