Buy two plants for the fruit to set because cross pollination needed. Tomatillo green . Mexican husk tomato, prolific bushy plant grows 3-4′ tall and across, does well in partial shade. Green 2″ sweet fruits are ripe when the fruits burst through husk. Blended with hot peppers to make Mexican green sauce. Fruits have best flavor when washed with mild soap and then rinsed off thoroughly, which removes the sticky coating on the outside of the fruits. 75 days.
