Native to central and southern North America. Aromatic plant that is citrus scented. Lavender to pink whorls flower heads stalked on top of each other. Very attractive to pollinators. Excellent exotic cut flower. Makes amazing lemon bergamot tea. Aromatic leafs can be added to salads.

Companion plants: Echinacea, Phlox, Rudbeckia, Eupatorium, Tomato.
Far from: Potato, Cucumber, Watermelon, Eggplant.
Planting tip: Seed stratification is required for 2-4 weeks. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before planting outside or direct sow outside from early spring up until 8 weeks before the first frost in the fall.||Can be transplanted outside as early as spring or early summer, when plant reaches at least 3-4” in height.
Harvesting tip: Harvest leaves starting first year. Flowers blooms in second year.

Originaire du centre et du sud de l’Amérique du Nord. Plante aromatique au parfum d’agrumes. Les têtes de fleurs en verticilles aux couleurs allant du lavande vers le rose sont empilées les unes sur les autres. Très attirante pour les pollinisateurs. Excellente fleur coupée exotique. Donne un étonnante tisane au citron et à la bergamote. Les feuilles aromatiques peuvent aussi être ajoutées aux salades.
