ID: 50564 | Planting Tip: Water well. Transplant  in a 20″ and bigger pot when it is about 1 – 1.5ft tall. Bring indoors well before frost. Requires more than 6H of sunlight in winter. Harvesting Tip: Leaves can be harvested at any point, however, the older leaves are better for making moringa powder. The pods can be harvested once they are about 1/2 inch in diameter and pop off the branches easily. Storage Tip: Dry leaves in shade, then grind to powder. Store powder in airtight containers away from light. Freeze fresh pods in sealed bags. |
