An outstanding beefsteak/heart tomato with a yellow bicolor, pink marbling, and yellow stripes. Known for its sweet and bright flavor, it boasts an above-average shelf life. The tomato has a long ripening window, offering a tangy-citrusy flavor when yellow with green stripes and developing sweet, fruity tropical flavors as it matures. This open-pollinated variety is prized for its flavor, heavy production, vigor, with a high percentage of “perfect” blossom ends. Excellent breeding work by late Fred Hempel. INDETERMINANT.

Planting tip: Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before planting. Reduce water & nitrogen when hardening off. Staking required.
Harvesting tip: For best taste harvest when fully ripe, expressed its full colour. Can also harvest when tomato is green and expressed its 1st blush; if so, let tomato ripen off-vine above 21°C.
Storage tip: Store at 12-21°C, relative humidity 95%.

Une tomate beefsteak/coeur exceptionnelle avec une couleur jaune bicolore, des marbrures roses et des rayures jaunes. Connue pour sa saveur douce et brillante, elle a une durée de conservation supérieure à la moyenne. La tomate a une longue fenêtre de maturation, offrant une saveur acidulée d’agrumes lorsqu’elle est jaune avec des rayures vertes et développant des saveurs tropicales sucrées et fruitées à mesure qu’elle mûrit. Cette variété à pollinisation ouverte est appréciée pour sa saveur, sa forte production et sa vigueur, avec un pourcentage élevé d’extrémités de fleurs parfaites. Ensemencement: Semer à l’intérieur 6-8 sem. avant de planter. Réduire l’eau et l’azote pendant l’endurcissement. Tuteurage nécessaire.
Récolte: Pour un meilleur goût, récoltez lorsque pleinement mûre, sa couleur pleinement exprimée. On peut aussi récolter lorsque verte, a exprimé sa 1re couleur. Alors, laissez la mûrir hors-vigne à 22°C ou +.
Entreposage: Conservez à 12-21°C et humidité relative de 95%.
