Fiery Habanero is an intense Scotch Bonnet–type pepper. Each compact 1½’ plant yields 10–20 pendulous fruits transitioning from dark green to red. The wrinkled fruits, known for their distinctive flavor, are popular in West Indian jerk sauce. For regions with frequent nighttime temperatures below 21°C, greenhouse culture is recommended, ensuring successful production. Vitamins+: A, B6, C+++., K+., Capsaicin. Companions: Alliums, Basil, Tomato, Spinach, Oregano, Marjoram, Nasturtium, Marigold. Far from: Beans, Brassicas, Fennel. GaiaOrganics.ca |
