Nettles are high in Vitamin C, chlorophyl, iron and calcium.
Companion plants: Beans, Tomato, Cucumber, Rose.
Planting tip: Seed stratification is required for 1-2 weeks. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. It can be direct sown outside when all danger of frost has passed.
Harvesting tip: Must be handled gently as leave bruise easily or turn black. Harvest mid to late afternoon, after morning dew has dried off for strongest oil content.
Storage tip:  Store in plastic bag for up to 3-4 days

L’ortie est riche en vitamine C, en chlorophylle, en fer et en calcium.
Plantes compagnes: Haricots, tomate, concombre, rose.
Ensemencement: La stratification des semences est nécessaire pendant 1 à 2 sem.. Semer à l’intérieur 6 à 8 sem. avant le dernier gel. Elle peut être semée directement à l’extérieur lorsque tout danger de gel est passé.
Récolte: Doit être manipulé avec précaution car les feuilles se meurtrissent facilement ou deviennent noires. Récoltez en milieu ou fin d’après-midi, après que la rosée du matin ait séché, pour obtenir la meilleure teneur en huile.
Entreposage: Conservez dans un sac en plastique pendant 3-4 jours.
