A fascinating relative of tomatoes, commonly known as Wonderberry, captivates with its unique traits. These plants reach knee height, yielding an abundance of small, sweet, blue fruits reminiscent of blueberries. A delightful snack in the garden, they also lend themselves to the creation of delicious jams and pies. Luther Burbank crafted this intriguing variety in the early 1900s through a cross of two distinct members of the nightshade family. Similar to tomatoes in growth, Wonderberries thrive without the need for staking.
