Also known as Tzi Bi U, these rare Chinese heirloom cherry tomatoes resemble jewels with their 1-3 oz green-striped purplish red flesh, presenting an enchanting opalescence as they ripen. Their sweet, tart and smooth taste as well as their very high yields make them a great choice for market gardeners. Up to 6′ high with sprawling vines that require support. INDETERMINANT.
Companion plants: Basil, Parsley, Carrot, Asparagus, Alliums, Celery, Borage, Marigold, Calendula, Mint, Sage, Peppers, Dill (until mature). 
Far from: Potato, Corn, Kohlrabi, Beet, Fennel, Peas, Squash.
Planting tip: Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before planting. Reduce water & nitrogen when hardening off. Staking required.
Harvesting tip: For best taste harvest when fully ripe, expressed its full colour. Can also harvest when tomato is green and expressed its 1st blush; if so, let tomato ripen off-vine above 21°C.
Storage tip: Store at 12-21°C, relative humidity 95%.

Également connues sous le nom de Tzi Bi U, ces tomates cerises chinoises patrimoniales rares ressemblent à des bijoux avec leur chair de 1 à 3 oz rayée de vert et de rouge pourpre, présentant une opalescence enchanteresse à mesure qu’elles mûrissent. Leur goût sucré, acidulé et doux ainsi que leur rendement très élevé en font un excellent choix pour les maraîchers. Jusqu’à 6′ de haut avec des vignes tentaculaires qui nécessitent un support. INDÉTERMINANT.

Ensemencement: Semer à l’intérieur 6-8 sem. avant de planter. Réduire l’eau et l’azote pendant l’endurcissement. Tuteurage nécessaire.
Récolte: Pour un meilleur goût, récoltez lorsque pleinement mûre, sa couleur pleinement exprimée. On peut aussi récolter lorsque verte, a exprimé sa 1re couleur. Alors, laissez la mûrir hors-vigne à 22°C ou +.
Entreposage: Conservez à 12-21°C et humidité relative de 95%.
